After graduating from the Ravensbourne
College of Art, Lizzie developed her
career as an art editor on magazines such
as Good Housekeeping and Ideal Home.
Mosaics had always been a hobby, but it
was only after she was persuaded by
friends to create a splashback for their
new home that it became a passion.
With husband Richard she developed
techniques to make practical, beautiful
large-scale mosaics at reasonable prices.
Based in East Sussex, on the English south
coast, Lizzie Wells Mosaics specialise in
architectural decoration from splashbacks
to murals, for external and internal use.
Although we do make handcut mosaics,
these tend to be extremely labour intensive and therefore fairly expensive.
Our uncut work, using 10mm, 12mm,
15mm or 20mm square tiles preserves all
the quality and beauty of a traditional mosaic, but at a fraction of the cost.
Have a look through our portfolio to find out more about us and our work - and if you'd like to speak to us about
a project, please call either Lizzie or Richard Wells on 01424 733223 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
